The International industrial forum “RUSSIAN INDUSTRIALIST” is a scale congress and exhibition measure connecting the specialists of machine-building companies of Russia and other countries.

The forum “RUSSIAN INDUSTRIALIST” has been held annually since 1997. The Forum is organized to support in: formation of the national policy for industrial development in Russia; formulation of the definite proposals for federal and regional purpose-oriented programs; solution of the current questions of technical re-equipment of enterprises; application of the innovations and achievements of science, engineering and technology to production; quality improvement and increasing of the competitive ability of products; development and expansion of the subcontracting contacts; training of professional personnel.

FORUM 2008
-The exposition was held in 4 pavilions of the “LENEXPO” company and covered 15.000m2 of exhibition space
-More than 500 companies from all regions of Russia as well from near-abroad and far-abroad countries, such as Belarus, Germany, China, Norway, Taiwan, Ukraine, Czechia, Switzerland, Sweden and Japan participated in the Forum in 2008
- More than 6500 experts visited the expositions and events of the congress section of the Forum
- 36 events were held in the framework of congress section of the Forum, including the Congress on mechatronics and robotics, the International nuclear forum, and 11 conferences, devoted to the forming of the cluster of producers of car components; providing the industrial enterprises and scientific institutions; printed circuits and electronics packages; interregional cooperation in the spheres of small and medium business, etc. These events also included seminars, round-table discussions, presentations and signing the contracts.
